Academic Visitor Professor Brian Weatherson has published the book “Normative Externalism”
Wednesday 5 June 2019

Brian Weatherson's book, Normative Externalism, has just been published by Oxford University Press. His book argues that it doesn't matter whether people live up to their own principles, what matters is that they live up to the correct principles. And it connects this idea to debates about moral uncertainty, blame and ignorance, higher-order evidence, circular reasoning, and peer disagreement.

The ANU School of Philosophy is pleased to be hosting a workshop on Brian Weatherson’s book, Normative Externalism.

The event will features Brian Weatherson, from the University of Michingan, who will be joined by speakers discussing Chapters in his book followed by a Q&A session.

Speakers for the event are Hannah Tierney (USyd), Neil Levy (Macquarie), Brian Hedden (USyd) and Daniel Cohen (CSU).

The event will held on Thursday 6 June in the Sir Roland Wilson Building (room 2.10).

Please register your attendance at the workshop here.
